Job Summary
Seeking experienced Litigation Paralegal to work in La Grange Park. Role involves working with attorneys in a variety of civil litigation matters including family law, personal injury, employment law, civil rights, and others in state and federal courts.
Qualifications and Skills
Certification from paralegal program preferred, prior litigation experience and proven technical skills a plus. Ability to manage a case load, prioritize tasks and plan ahead, a plus.

Pay: $45,000-65,000 per year

Monday to Friday/ minimum 9am to 5:30 pm
Ideal Candidate will have:
Preparing correspondence and pleadings
Filings and motions
Preparing trial documents & notebooks
Scanning and copying
Scheduling meetings and depositions and making travel arrangements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a legal secretary, litigation firm preferred
Must have prior experience with litigation processes
Use of all paralegal skills including research, abstracting of records, maintenance of various calendars and preparation of cases for arbitration, mediation and trial.
E-filing with state and federal courts and ability to navigate the court systems
Handle eDiscovery, Relativity
Drafts simple motions, pleadings, notices, and other legal documents
Gather documents, exhibits, charts, and binders for discovery, trial and hearing preparations
Docket incoming court dates
Perform other tasks as needed for litigation team
